RSTNL and the Netherlands eScience Center will organise another Carpentries Instructor Training for Dutch member institutions of the Carpentries. the Netherlands eScience Center is organizing an in-person Instructor Training at the Amsterdam Science Park. Employees from silver, gold, or platinum Carpentries member institutions (you can check that here) can follow this training to become a certified Carpentries Instructor. This means they will be able to teach at Carpentries workshops, and join the Carpentries Instructor community. It’s also a great way to build a reputation and improve on teaching skills. The course includes practicing teaching live-coding, and many pedagogical techniques that will serve teachers in other contexts too.
